SnakeLoop uses a strict grid-based movement engine, updated to run at variable tick rates. As you progress, the time between movements shortens, demanding faster reflexes. Turning mechanics are buffered to prevent missed inputs during high-speed maneuvers.

Threat Avoidance

Survival requires spatial awareness. The game enforces strict collision detection against the outer perimeter and the snake's ever-growing tail. Trapping yourself is the most common failure state as the play area dynamically shrinks.

Food Collection

Glowing neon targets spawn randomly across the grid. Each target consumed not only increases your score but also triggers a temporary speed boost, requiring split-second adjustments to your trajectory.

Base Consumption

Every target collected adds a fixed amount to your base score and increases your length by exactly one grid unit.

Boundary Risks

Playing close to the walls rewards extra points. The closer your path to a fatal collision, the higher the ambient score tick.
